you know I love the past 'cause I hate suspense

jacket - Zara
top and jeans - Primark
necklace - H&M
wedges - Dorothy Perkins

Mr Blue Sky please tell us why you had to hide away for so long?
Anyway, it's nice you've finally made an appearance despite making my daily wardrobe struggles even more tricky to figure out. I haven't really worn this necklace since prom and thought it might brighten up an otherwise simple outfit. I really am living in simple block colours at the moment, some vague attempt at being ~minimalist~ if anyone asks. Though my wardrobe is far from capsule (see blog title for more details).

Exams are unfortunately looming and as I flick through seemingly-endless-poorly-scribbled-notes, I can't help but start making summer plans (which makes for terribly ineffective revision).I just can't wait to escape!

^ definitely recommend this for getting into the summer spirit!

Springspiration

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter, I've been such a terrible blogger I know!
Mainly because I came down with some cold/flu/virus thing which seemed to span over the entire two week period much to my delight..
Although I managed to pick up a few pretty items via the magic of online shopping (which I shall feature here soon) I haven't taken any outfit photos for ages! </3

Instead I shall provide some spring inspired images, as the sun has finally graced us with its presence, and I feel ready to venture to warm places and sip cocktails until early evening..

(I also managed to find some rings similar to these on Asos which I've barely taken off)

(would very much like this outfit please)

I have also fallen in love with Ivania Carpio from love-aesthetics and basically just want my wardrobe to be monochrome and nothing more..

Oh, I'm also having serious doubts about my English Lit & Drama course for uni, wondering whether I should've opted for something more marketing/graphics based.. If anyone is doing such course I would love some words of advice! x

your arms around me come undone

jumper - Zara
jeans & necklace - Primark
wedges - Tesco
Apologies for the lack of posting consistency, my days so far have been pretty heavily filled, but hopefully I can get back to a regular blogging routine now that the days are pleasingly lighter!
This jumper is actually stolen from my mum, I seem to be lacking a green jumper and I also have a new fondness for roll-necks as they provide the warmth of a scarf also(y)

I appreciate the picture quality is appalling, but it's difficult to capture this Miss Sporty shade on camera anyway.
There's a review with much better pictures here. The colour I have is 'fiery blaze' and it resembles an oil slick  in the sense of a two tone effect. For £1.99 I'd definitely recommend, it took three coats to achieve true opaque-ness for me and has remained chip-less for the three days so far (without a top coat).

For now I shall return to my English Lit coursework, which is made a lot more difficult when you've misplaced one of the texts, (if anyone has a spare copy of Revolutionary Road, do let me know! :') until I return, have some inspirational images from tumblr & weheartit.
