All that glitters

Pink, pretty and subtly sparkly; a combination that is rarely beaten,

How perfect are these pendants that I was so kindly sent from Stacey Jewellery? These simple pendants and chains are so versatile for the summer season and can so easily be paired with a t shirt and jeans ensemble, as well as a much more dressy affair.
Delicate, gold and ideal for layering over my very monochrome outfits, these pieces so perfectly add that sought after finishing touch.

Which is your favourite necklace?

"Double, double toil and trouble;
    Fire burn, and caldron bubble.
        Fillet of a fenny snake,
    In the caldron boil and bake;
    Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
    Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
    Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
    Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing,—
    For a charm of powerful trouble,
    Like a hell-broth boil and bubble"

defeated no more

necklaces - the magic ones

My mum informed me I looked like someone who was about to go and tell fortunes when I went out in this a few evenings ago. I can't help but stick to my monochrome comforts, but the celestial print mixes things up a little and I was lucky to find the crop on ebay for a pleasing £6 :)
Also hugely pleased with these pretty pieces from the magic ones, the camera really cannot capture the colours of the opal pendant.. Will definitely be purchasing more!

hooked on a feeling

Forgive my lack of blogging, but I have been gallavanting across the channel to drink far too much wine and eat far too many pastries/cheeses/baguettes.. (can you really ever eat too many baguettes?)
Anyway, holiday related/picture heavy post is on it's way, but I had to post about the parcel on my doorstep when I returned home.

The Rainbow Club create gorgeous handmade ivory shoes, namely aimed at blushing brides rather than impoverished bloggers. However, they also offer a bespoke service which means you get these beauties dyed in just about any colour to match a dress, piece of jewellery or whatever takes your fancy. I am not about to make my way down any aisle (aside from Sainsburys) but was of course on board to choose a pair to test out when I was very kindly asked to do so.

I opted for the style 'Georgie Girl' because of the delicate lace detailing and, shock horror, in a timeless black shade which will conveniently match just about everything I own.
Firstly, how pretty?!
The shoes came wrapped so neatly in this beautiful cherub decorated packaging and I was hesitant in trying them on as they looked so content in the box.
Once I did however, I was once again impressed by the detail, quality and comfort. I am contemplating how nice a spectrum of heels would look in my wardrobe.
I think my trusty wedges may have to take a back seat for a while.

Fever

I really fancied a pair of high waisted jeans so picked up these black ones for a rather good £10 in Primark as I am far too impatient to invest in a better quality pair.
I then (obviously) needed a crop top to go with them (as I strangely own about one) so had a brief click through ebay and came across this reasonably priced monochrome number. Justifying buying one item of clothing by purchasing another is becoming a bad habit.
Although I like the look of  crop tops on other people, I have always been sceptical of wearing them myself, and was therefore surprised at how much I like this one. It also comes in white and delivery was super fast i.e. the next day :)))

Also I promise the next post I will finally do a giveaway!
