Somewhere, at some point between that mini heatwave last month and a good few weeks of rain, summer actually seems to have arrived.
For me, this usually means two things:
a) Finally I can escape the monotony of my daily life and think about jetting off somewhere exciting
b) I literally want to buy all the clothes.
It probably won't surprise you that the above points are not mutually exclusive; one tends to lead to the other.
For some reason, summer seems to inspire (or convince) me that I need a whole new wardrobe.
Perhaps it's because the transition between "Spring" and Summer is so small here, or maybe because I feel less guilty buying crop tops than oversized jumpers. Either way, the warmest season seems to bring with it so many possibilities where my wardrobe is concerned. Which can't be a bad thing.

What season inspires you the most?

I can always rely on you for the perfect outfits! It's been so hot here -in the high 30s (Celsius), so those dresses you're rocking are right up my alley! Red is a gorgeous colour on you btw!

I'm really struggling with what to wear for Summer, simply because this heatwave was so unexpected so thank you for the inspiration! I definitely find autumn easier to dress for, but that's probably because the UK is so used to mediocre, cold weather!

ReplyDeleteYou have wonderful fashion taste! I love the looks of all four of these outfits. I love the look of the fabric, the red colour, and long sleeves of the blouse and stripes on the sides of the black SheIn skirt in the first OOTD. I like the hem and tailoring of the black Zaful dress in the second OOTD, of the tie-waist SheIn top in the third OOTD. My favourite of the four outfit is the fourth OOTD. I love the ruffles, red colour and tiny polka dots of the dress you got on ebay and also the similar dress you linked on AliExpress.
ReplyDeleteSpring inspires me most though I do love summer fashions and try to enjoy what I can in all seasons.
