I think I actually prefer the build up to Christmas than the
big day itself.
Whether it's being stuck in a crowded coffee shop waiting
for the rain to pass, or last-minute festive jumper buying for the charity day
at work, the days leading up to the 25th always seem a little more special;
that may be the extra prosecco talking, but it's hard to tell.
For me, these photos capture that festive whirlwind which
December seems to wrap everything up in. The lights, the laughter and the mince
pies. Horribly cliché, but I certainly think it's worth taking that occasional
moment to just step back and take it all in, as after all, sometimes it can be
tricky to see beyond the excessive buying, and actually remember what this
season is really all about.
Are you looking forward to Christmas?

Your layered outfit looks very attractive and stylish.
ReplyDeleteThe long fringed brown scarf, white top, white coat, pretty necklaces and rings all look very attractive and stylish worn together.
Your hair, eye-makeup, lipstick, and you look very pretty.
I no longer look forward to Christmas the way I did when I was younger, but I do love reading posts by bloggers who do. Their posts, the fashions, and some of the Christmas themed movies, are fun to read, look at and watch.

Gorgeous photos, I love your outfit! And I have to agree with you, the build up to Christmas is my absolute favourite and yes, partly because of the extra prosecco but I also love seeing all the Christmas lights and I love buying presents for others. I also think we can get a bit lost spending excessive money on Christmas presents - what Christmas really is about is spending times with our loved ones. xx

Winter wonderland dream queen SLAYS AGAIN! Looking like utter enchantment gorgeous Georgia, from your sassy spirit to your rose gold toned jewels and badass babe of an outfit. These captures are seventh heaven from the twinkling jazzy lights to your fierce presence. Even though I'm not a big fan of Christmas I definitely think you're right about the build-up being more magical and enjoyable than Christmas itself. The dreamy displays are always to die for, something I've learnt to appreciate along with decorations - Paperchase have got my heart when it comes to their colourful kitsch. Choosing a tree and the songs and movies, all things that I definitely find more uplifting before the big day itself. You are so right about the meaning of Christmas too, so easily it can get lost, especially in these modern times that move so fast they become a blur. I so hope you had an enchanting Christmas, a dazzling New Year and wish on every star that all the happiness in the world sees you right this year gorgeous, for you deserve it all! ♥︎♥︎♥︎
