So I am finally in year 13! (As in proper year 13 as opposed to 12.5). It's pleasingly not as bad as I anticipated as all of the people staying on are lovely so I feel as though I shall be able to cope. I'm certainly going to try and make the most of this year and get the best possible grades to hopefully lead to a half decent university place. Although I am still unsure what I want to do, am yet to write a personal statement and even begin UCAS, but we shan't worry about that :)
Uninteresting but true - after a lengthy three years, I've also just had my braces off which I'm still getting used to, being able to eat food properly again is marvelous!
In other news, the glasses lovely glasses company, Firmoo recently contacted me and kindly offered to send me some sunglasses. I must confess, when it comes to sunglasses, I tend to opt for cheap and cheerful Primark ones that I tend to break after about ten minutes. Therefore, I was rather excited when I received this incredibly pretty tortoiseshell pair. I love the gradient of the lenses and the metallic detailing above the eyes of the aviator shape which I've never had a pair of before (over £2 anyway.)
I'm very much in love with them and actually wore them to college today, (fingers crossed the cloudless skies last!) so I highly recommend a look! I shall be certain to not abandon this pair on a car seat and listen to the crack as a family member sits on them.
