Details

01. Breaking away from my usual blood red lips, I have been experimenting with more neutral shades. I was originally inspired to try out the 'Kylie Jenner' lip phenomenon by this post which then spiralled into purchasing lip products that are much more in my price range and are still able to create something similar: (Hanorah Lipstick, Essence Lip liner, Natural Collection Lip Liner).

02. Having commitment phobia, I thought these ear cuffs would be ideal when desperately trying to emulate some kind of 'cool'ness. Even if I'm not looking it, I'm definitely feeling it which is all that counts, right?

03. I should probably invest in some good quality rings that don't change colour when I wash my hands, but until that point I shall fill my h&m bag with the cheap and cheerful kind. I can't deny my love for jewelled hands.

Kylie Jenner Wannabe hair - c/o Flashmob

I was ridiculously excited to be given the chance to test out some Flashmob hair chalks.
Flashmob specialise is bright and bold beauty products, something I'd usually shy away from, but I've become far too comfortable in my comfort zone, so was raring to test them out!

Hair chalk is ideal for commitment phobes like myself, or those of us who wish to give colour a trial run.
Or who just want to feel like Kylie Jenner for a day or two.

How to apply
All you need to do is run the chalks over the hair, and simply build it up for a more intense colour. Then simply seal with some hair spray.
I was really pleased with the intensity of  the colour on my dark hair, but spritzing a little water on first definitely brings out the colour.

Top Tips
I would definitely put a few towels or newspaper before you start chalking yourself.
Also, I wouldn't recommend wearing white without a towel around your neck, to avoid your shoulders changing colour.
That said, it is chalk as opposed to fake tan or dye, so comes off super easily with soap.

Despite looking like a goth according to my brother, I was really pleased with the simplicity of the hair chalks and can't wait to actually use them for an evening out now it's apparently ~party season~!!
I also have the yellow and green to try so keep an eye on my instagram to be accordingly updated :)

Would you give hair chalk a try?
