The final rays of summer may be shining, but as I try to catch every last glimpse of sunshine before the pavements are carpeted with leaves, I can't help lusting over these pick and mix coloured pieces. She In is yet to disappoint and is the primary source for my current wardrobe lusts..

welcome to the inner workings of my mind

I feel like I have so much to blog about and yet am finding it tricky to string a sentence together.. Well, this summer has been brilliant in summary, if somewhat hectic. I have blogged nowhere near as much as I'd have liked to, but hopefully this shall change very soon!
I am headed to Liverpool Uni next week so have been and am still in the process of sorting that out and as someone that tends to leave things until the last minute.. I've left it until the last minute. I literally sorted out my accommodation a couple of days ago which I am (finally) pretty happy with and am currently in the process of spending the last few days very productively (printing off photos to brighten up my walls.) If anyone else is off to university, I do hope your plans are going more smoothly!
In regards to dressing, I was leaning towards ~simple and minimal~ with occasional accessories, although I know this will last about five minutes.. to remedy this, I am now going to saturate this post with minimal inspiration to try and adjust my brain into thinking this is the way forward, click the picture for the outfit info:

I'm constantly wanting clothes. I'm constantly thinking, 'oh just ONE more thing, and then my wardrobe will be complete.'

Though, then I will see a gorgeous outfit somewhere and think 'asdfghjkl; MUST HAVE THAT'

That's becoming a frequent problem which I should probably resolve somehow.

Anyway, at the moment, I'm certainly finding my way back into dark colours having meandered through wearing a vast spectrum over the past year.

I recently made a polyvore account and this was one of my first 'sets'. Awful I know, but I wanted something simple and I just can't seem to get enough of black at the moment. I adore those leather shorts, but definitely haven't got the legs (or tan) to pull them off. 

These necklaces are from a lovely little site called This is Transition and they happen to have the most gorgeous range of accessories. If anyone has a couple of hundred pounds spare, please let me know.
