Currently enjoying the cooler weather for allowing me to layer up and not looking like Joey in that episode of Friends.

Speaking of layers, this jumper is quickly becoming a firm favourite and the forest green shade has allowed me to venture from my monochrome comfort zone. That said, I am having a bit of a clothing cut back at the moment, so do check out my depop if you fancy :)

Is it now officially cold enough to warrant multiple layers? I remain unsure, but am preparing for the usual sudden drop in temperature and for the overnight seasonal change where gloves become necessary. 

 Also trying to get back into the swing of ~uni life~, although trying not to spend a fortune which is a tricky balance to readjust to. Just sticking to the socials and places that do 2 for 1 cocktails and I shouldn't be bankrupt by the end of the semester. Fingers crossed.

Cannot believe we're already in October and I'll be carving pumpkins and donning fake blood in a few weeks :')

Be sure to stay tuned for a Halloween related dressing up post as that is probably my favourite thing to do (have literally looked into being one of the Halloween staff at Alton Towers..)

Anyway, England has been graced with a glorious summer and I'm sure Autumn will be no disappointment either, now time for some more wintery inspiration..

Well I hope rather than reading this, everyone is doing lovely festive things with family and friends and consuming vast amounts of delicious food.

I was lucky enough to be sent this lovely bandage jumper from Sammydress.com which is currently my most favourite item of clothing for the wintery months. I was at first wishing I'd bought a larger size, but the cropped-ness is growing on me and the quality has really impressed me. I'd been meaning to purchase something textured as opposed to my usual simpler knitwear and I thought this fit the bill perfectly.

Anyway, it's very nearly the big day I am far too comfortable in front of the fire, distracted by the fairy lights and endless festive television to be doing *ahem* work. So instead, what could be more enjoyable than browsing pretty pictures of things you might purchase in the new year sales? Speaking of new year, how quickly did 2013 go?
